All 7 rooms (4 en-suite) in our bed and breakfast in Okehampton are central heated, have colour tvs, hair-dryers and tea/coffee making facilities. We have a quiet guest lounge where you can relax with a book or play board games. An iron and board are situated on the first floor.
There is parking available. We have secure storage for cycles and we have installed a heated drying cupboard. For those of you who do not wish to eat out every night, there is a microwave and fridge in the breakfast room, and we are happy to provide warmed plates and cutlery.
Our Full English Breakfast (included in the price) is made with quality ingredients sourced locally where possible. We also offer a choice of fruit juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt's, tea, coffee, toast and locally made preserves.
Vegetarians are catered for.
Monday to Friday breakfast is served from 07.00 to 09.00.
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays it is served from 08.00 to 09.30.
Packed lunches are available on request at a charge of £4.00.
Taxis can be arranged for those travelling via Exeter Airport or St David's train station from £35.

We are within walking distance of the Museum of Dartmoor Life, Okehampton Castle, Simmons Park and Parklands Leisure Centre.
Cycle Route 27, The Dartmoor Way and The Tour de Manche pass our front door, and the Granite Way begins only 400 yards away. Cycle hire can be arranged from the youth Hostel 'adventureokehampton' where you can also book to go on their many outdoor activities, while staying in the comfort of our guest house.
Dartmoor Railway, home of the popular 'Polar Express' train ride, is only a 10 minute walk from Meadowlea Guest House and runs from mid November.
Historic Okehampton Golf Club is a few hundred yards away and offers good deals for non-members throughout the year.
Okehampton makes an ideal base for exploring Dartmoor and the rest of Devon as both the north and south coasts are less than an hours drive. It is also a convenient stopover for those of you en-route to Cornwall.
Walkers and cyclists can lighten their loads by using Luggage Transfers, providing transfers for the South West.
If driving from the M5:
From the M5 follow the A30 and take the first exit for Okehampton.
Two miles on turn left at the traffic lights between the Natwest Bank and the White Hart Hotel.
Station Road is the third turning on the right signposted to the Station, Youth Hostel and Camp.
We are about 200 yards up on the left!
